Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Hammond is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital exposure or a strong willingness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary setting.

The OT will deliver age-appropriate treatment, plan programs, and contribute to service development across PAM Health locations. Flexibility is key to meet the needs of our system and patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and plan/implement OT treatment programs.
• Develop and contribute to service improvements within the PAM Health system.
• Remain flexible to meet needs across multiple facilities.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

The Occupational Therapist will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Occupational Therapist must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.

• Education and Training: Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
