Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist to manage a caseload from admission to discharge, under general supervision, evaluating patients and planning treatment at our University Crossing location. You will deliver high-quality care for multiple diagnoses, engage patients to support outcomes, document progress in writing, and collaborate with the care team.

Active Florida OT license and CPR/BLS required; new grads considered.

Qualifications

• Current OT license in Florida.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.
• Ability to prescribe, fit, and fabricate orthoses as needed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs.
• Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses.
• Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment.
