Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our day-shift team. The OT will evaluate rehabilitation potential, set realistic goals, and design a tailored treatment program that aligns with each patient’s functional capacity.

All therapies follow established policies to ensure high-quality care. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in OT, a current Louisiana license, and active BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Louisiana State License in good standing is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's rehabilitation potential and establish realistic goals.
• Plan and administer a treatment program that matches the patient’s functional capacity.
• Deliver Occupational Therapy treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington is seeking PRN Occupational Therapist, OT for day shifts, responsible for evaluating a patient's rehabilitation potential, establishing realistic goals, and planning and administering a treatment program which best meets that patient's individual functional capacity and tolerance to achieve that goal. All Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities are in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care at all times. This position is flexible with variable day shifts.

Job Requirements
