Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) with inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn. The OT will provide direct patient care, develop and implement age-appropriate treatment plans, and help grow OT services within the PAM Health system.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Texas OT license, current BLS certification, and preferably one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state where the hospital resides (Texas).
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and planning/implementing OT treatment programs for patients.
• Contribute to the development/expansion of OT services within the PAM Health system.
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the system across multiple facilities.

Overview

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs in an age appropriate manner for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health System. The Occupational Therapist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Occupational Therapist must be flexible to meet the needs of the System within many different facilities.

Qualifications

• Education and Training:Licensed as OT in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience:One (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
