Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to enhance daily living skills and rehab outcomes. Per diem shifts available.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current OT certification/licensure in Alabama is required.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting is preferred.
• Passion for geriatric care and rehabilitation.
• Creativity in problem-solving and activity adaptation.

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Develop creative, individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a supportive, interdisciplinary team.
• Provide hands-on therapy focusing on daily living skills and oversee COTA interventions.
• Guide patients in using adaptive equipment.
• Mentor and guide therapy staff.
