Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver compassionate, one-on-one therapy in the child’s home, daycare, or school setting. You will develop customized treatment plans and support children in environments where they thrive.

This role offers flexible scheduling with options for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN, plus a sign-on bonus. You will join a collaborative team that provides clinical supervision and resources to positively impact

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Texas OT license by anticipated start date.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-approved Plans of Care.
• Address functional skills including fine motor development, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, self-care, visual-motor integration, behavioral regulation, and activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
