Key responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs, developing treatment plans with physicians and families, and documenting evaluations and discharge instructions in line with departmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification
• Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, and coordination.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families, setting realistic goals and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, education, and discharge instructions in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education, and serve as a resource for rehabilitation services and equipment.
• Adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety protocols.
• Maintain effective communication, participate in team meetings, and support a positive, respectful environment.
• Engage in professional development, complete required certifications, and participate in training and orientation activities.
