Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking an occupational therapist to deliver in-home therapy focused on daily living skills, mobility, and safe home environments. You will assess patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with families and the care team.

A state license as an OT is required; graduation from an approved OT program; 1 year of home health experience preferred. Competitive benefits and opportunities for continuing education are available.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which you practice.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with approval based on prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Help patients in the home improve daily living skills and basic motor functions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to restore or compensate for functional loss.
• Collaborate with families and the care team to support ongoing patient progress.

Responsibilities

Our Occupational Therapists help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational therapists use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients, the basic motor functions of patients as well as to compensate for any loss of function that may have occurred with the patient.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
• A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional Vice Presidentand/or Regional Director of Therapy Servicesapproval based on prior experience setting.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.
