Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our Neuro Home & Community program in Nashua, NH. This full-time role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, 1:1 patient care, and participation in a multidisciplinary neuro rehab team.

You will work in patients' homes and community settings to rebuild independence in daily activities, cognition, safety, and participation, with an emphasis on real-world function and meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s OT experience.
• Knowledge of rehab techniques for neurological conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Fine motor skills and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Physical requirements include bending, kneeling, and positioning.
• Health screen may be required prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.

We are building a neuro rehab model focused on real-life function — not clinic-based limitations.

As an Occupational Therapist in our Neuro Home & Community program, you will help patients rebuild independence in the activities that matter most: daily routines, cognition, safety, and participation in everyday life.

You’ll work directly in patients’ homes and community environments, where meaningful recovery actually happens — not in artificial clinic settings.

This is a full-time role designed for OTs who want autonomy, flexibility, meaningful patient relationships, and functional outcomes without overwhelming productivity pressure.

You will focus on:

• Activities of daily living (ADLs/IADLs)
• Cognitive rehabilitation in real-world environments
• Home safety and functional independence
• Neuro recovery following stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions

Responsibilities

What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans

• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where practicing
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting, or transferring patients may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods
• Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently
• Physical health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on location policy and regulations

Salary Range

USD $85,000.00 - $88,000.00 / Year
