Job summary

Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. You will assess referred patients, develop and administer individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families in therapy methods.

You must be a graduate of an accredited OT program with an active license, and you will supervise OT Assistants while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Oversee and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Conduct evaluations, weekly progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
• Punctuality and professionalism.
• Perform duties as assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
• Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Occupational Therapist

The Sans Souci Rehabilitation & Nursing Centeris looking for a talented and hard-working Occupational Therapist to join our ever-growing team.

Responsibilities Include

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Occupational Therapist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Occupational Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patients condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.

Qualifications/Requirements

• The Occupational Therapist is responsible for overseeing and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights.

Shift Needs: All positions are available.

Salary $45 an hour
