Job summary

Renewal Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our growing team. You will perform comprehensive OT evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate with MD orders for ongoing care.

Qualifications

• Licensed and/or registered Occupational Therapist (state licensure required).
• NBCOT designation recognized (OTR) where mandated.
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations based on physician orders.
• Document findings on standardized evaluation forms timely and accurately.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with long- and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• Deliver therapy utilizing modalities and modify treatment per patient needs and safety precautions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S.,MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapythat the AOTA recognizes.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
• OT holds a current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in-state as applicable.
