Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehabilitation care in a skilled nursing facility, supporting long-term care and short-term rehab for diverse patients with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary needs.

You will develop and adjust treatment plans, assess progress, supervise OTAs and students, and document using therapy software, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Current licensure and registration in applicable state; NBCOT certification (renewal optional).
• CPR certification (current or obtained during orientation).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating good judgment and decision-making skills.
