Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City North is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time role. You will provide high quality rehabilitation services to patients across diverse clinical conditions, applying evidence-based practice and compassionate care.

The position requires Oklahoma OT licensure, a bachelor's degree in OT, and adherence to safety protocols including BLS and influenza vaccination.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• BLS certification required (Available Upon Hire).
• Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.

Our rehabilitation programs at our Oklahoma City North Hospital provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should hold a current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oklahoma and have a bachelor's degree.

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required (Available Upon Hire)
