Powerback Rehabilitation in Cheviot Hills Post Acute is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR/OTD) to serve adult and geriatric patients in post-surgical recovery, ortho rehab, wound care, and pulmonary management. A fully equipped gym supports mobility and safe transitions back to independence.

You will assess needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT program completed.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Valid, unencumbered OT license as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Title: Occupational Therapist (OTR / OTD)

• Location: Cheviot Hills Post Acute is a 99-bed, 4-star Medicare-rated SNF. Your caseload will consist of adult and geriatric patients navigating post-surgical recovery, ortho rehab, advanced wound care, and specialized pulmonary or respiratory management. We offer a fully equipped gym designed to maximize patient mobility, build strength, and successfully transition short-term rehab residents back to independent living.

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

Qualifications

• They must have a Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy (OT) curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• They must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist (OT) must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $50.00 - USD $55.00 /Hr.
