Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Boca Raton, FL. The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide interventions aimed at improving daily living skills and functional independence.

This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities within a collaborative, resident-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Assess resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs, adaptive equipment, and treatment goals.
• Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment.

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving daily living skills, functional independence, and overall quality of life.
