Job Summary:

Regal Heights Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 172-bed facility located in Hockessin, Delaware, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Regal Heights, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by helping them recover from surgery or illness and achieve their optimal level of function.

About the Role:

As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will work on a per-diem basis, providing occupational therapy services to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing individualized plans of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement
• Identifying the need for and making referrals to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of our patients
• Providing supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state license requirements and professional standards
• Performing other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to our residents

Requirements:

• Must have graduated from an Occupational Therapist curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), or its successor organizations
• Must be licensed in the state of Delaware
• Requires good organizational and time management skills
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills
