The Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is looking for a talented and hard-working Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. You will assess referred patients, develop a treatment plan, and document progress under physician direction.

Experience with long‑term or geriatric care is preferred; you may supervise OT assistants. Strong documentation, patient‑centered care, and a professional attitude are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited OT program.
• Must have a valid license and registration for state of practice.
• Oversee and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation writing.
• Assessments, weekly progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentation.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Demonstrates exceptional patient service skills and clinical excellence.
• Punctual with scheduled hours and professional at all times.
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA and Federal Residents Rights.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients to determine rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals.
• Set realistic goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Document patient condition and progress; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines to ensure best care.
• Perform all other duties as directed by Director of Rehabilitation.

Occupational Therapist

The Bethany Center for Rehabilitation and Healingislooking for a talented and hard-working Occupational Therapist to join our ever-growing team.

Responsibilities Include:

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Occupational Therapist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Occupational Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patients condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• The Occupational Therapist is responsible for overseeing and supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not limited to.
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Evaluations, weekly progress notes, re-certification and discharge documentations.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
• Compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA and Federal Residents Rights.

Shift Needs: Full Time and PRN
