Job summary

HealthPro Heritage seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team at a luxury senior living community in Gloucester, MA. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to help residents maintain independence, mobility and quality of life, with a flexible schedule and supportive environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, documenting progress, and advocating for residents' needs to access resources and accommodations.

Qualifications

  • Must have an Occupational Therapy degree.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.

  • Patient assessment: evaluate physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities using observations and tools.
  • Create personalized treatment plans to meet goals and improve daily activities.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
