Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in-facility, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy to patients. You will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver therapy while promoting independence and collaboration with the rehab team.

You will be a teacher to patients and caregivers, helping them regain function and adapt to daily life within a patient-centered care model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients get well by assessing needs and delivering occupational therapy.
• Develop recovery plans tailored to each patient.
• Teach patients and caregivers the skills to promote independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to support patient goals.
• Adapt therapy to patient needs across diverse settings.
• Identify opportunities to extend therapy into daily life.
