Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPRO Heritage, is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for our outpatient clinic in Cameron, NC. This position offers full-time or part-time scheduling and a W-2 employment arrangement with mentorship in a child-centered setting.

You will assess children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities, create personalized treatment plans, educate families on daily activities and adaptive equipment, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid North Carolina licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Create personalized treatment plans and educate families on daily activities and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with standards.
• Advocate for clients and connect them with community resources and accommodations.

HealthPRO Pediatrics is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) for our outpatient pediatric clinic in Cameron, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Patient Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and Education: Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities. Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Advocacy and Support: Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
