Job summary

Landmark Hospitals in Athens, GA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN schedule to join our dedicated team. The OT will assess, plan, implement and document occupational therapy for patients, with responsibility for discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in OT, an active Georgia OT license and BLS certification. PRN shifts require flexibility and prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT or higher.
• Active and unrestricted Georgia OT License (Occupational Therapist).
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medical history, creates treatment plans and goals, shows patients how to use adaptive technology.
• Assists patients with disabilities, injuries or illnesses to recover and cope through daily tasks and exercises.
• Assesses patients' physical, psychological, social, and educational needs to determine level and type of care.
• Develops and maintains current patient treatment plan with problems, goals, and interventions.
• Delivers care based on acuity level and physician orders, and coordinates discharge planning needs.
• Assesses learning needs of patient/family and integrates into the plan of care.
