Position Overview

Job Title: Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Location: Okinawa, Japan

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience with pediatrics is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with various neurodivergent populations, including ASD and ADHD.
• Native or professional English fluency.
• Must hold a valid OT license from a recognized national accreditation body (e.g., NBCOT, AHPRA, etc.). Verification of credentials will be required prior to a formal job offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans primarily for the pediatric population.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including ABA Therapists, Physical Therapists (PTs), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs).
• Maintain detailed patient records and progress notes in accordance with United States healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA compliance).

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: ¥6,888,000 JPY
• Relocation Package: A one-time relocation allowance of ¥220,000 JPY upon arrival.
• Housing Support: 50% of monthly rent covered by the company (up to ¥80,000 JPY/month).
