This role offers flexible scheduling with a patient-first approach, focusing on one-on-one care without heavy productivity pressures and opportunities for professional growth in our growing mobile therapy team.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Occupational Therapy license.
  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) preferred; willingness to obtain certification.
  • Strong understanding of lymphedema treatment and current therapy practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile setting while remaining connected with the clinical and administrative team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional, dependable, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy and lymphedema evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on each patient's needs and goals.
  • Provide skilled lymphedema therapy, including appropriate components of CDT.
  • Assess patients' ability to safely perform activities of daily living.
  • Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding treatment, self-management, and home programs.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor progress toward short- and long-term goals and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for adaptive equipment when needed.
  • Communicate with physicians, caregivers, and other members of the patient's healthcare team as appropriate.
  • Collect and document required treatment information and follow up with patients as needed.
