Henry Ford Health in Warren, MI is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehab and acute care on a part-time basis. You will evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life.

You will design care plans, educate families, document progress, and coordinate discharge while supervising assistants. Requires BLS within 30 days, OT practitioner credential from MI Board, and a Bachelor's degree

Formación

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• OTR credential from the Michigan Board required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.
• Design and implement appropriate plans of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Document findings of patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families/caregivers about patient deficits and the use of adaptive equipment.
• Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services.
• Oversee the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians.
