Job summary

Regency Laurel Hill in Grants Pass, Oregon is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, organize and administer therapy services in line with current standards. You will maintain documentation and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes.

You will support therapists’ assistants, develop treatment goals, document progress, and coordinate with physicians to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in assigned state.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, organize and administer occupational therapy services per standards.
• Maintain informative, accurate documentation and records management.
• Work collaboratively with all disciplines to ensure quality care and patient outcomes.
• Provide therapeutic procedures and a full range of therapy services for referrals.
• Develop treatment goals and write programs based on patient evaluations.
• Administer manual exercises and educate patients in activities of daily living.
• Record treatment progress and educate family for home continuation.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic/orthotic devices; coordinate with physicians.
