Job summary

AVIR AT COTULLA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. You’ll work with orthopedic and neurological cases, creating programming for cognition, functional mobility and daily self-care with a focus on successful home return.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Texas or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab settings preferred.
• Ability to design and implement in-house therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans across cognition, mobility and self-care.
• Collaborate with therapy team to progress patients toward home re-entry.
• Document progress and adjust plans based on evaluation outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safety.
