Job summary

Powerback is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients recover and regain independence in an in-facility setting. You will assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.

You will design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance abilities, adapt to each patient’s needs, train patients and caregivers, collaborate with peers, and refer patients when necessary. Reporting to the Director of Rehab.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT degree required.
• Initial NBCOT certification.
• Current OT license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
• Design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, adapting to each patient’s needs.
• Train patients and caregivers, collaborate with peers, and refer patients when necessary.
