Job summary

The New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland, a Joint Venture of Maine Medical Center and Encompa, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a community hospital setting.

You will assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, supervise therapy sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support sustainable recoveries and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to patients.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
