Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate patient care in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will assess patients, create personalized care plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support independence and recovery.

The ideal candidate holds a current state OT license and BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state license in Occupational Therapy.
• BLS (CPR) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
