SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Outer Bay in Santa Rosa, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess and plan rehabilitative programs addressing vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills. You will supervise aides, serve as a clinical instructor, and ensure privacy and safety while delivering high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited OT degree, OT licensure, and BLS certification, with a strong ability to collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare

Formación

• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Organization:

Position Overview:

Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

• OT-Occupational Therapist
• OR OLP-Occupational Limited Permit
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC LICENSURES & CERTIFICATIONS:

• Department: Home Health - DL-Valid Drivers License
• Department: Home Health - INS-Auto Insurance

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to work in a demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities, and complete work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
• Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
• Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills, as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service, and community relations abilities.
• Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
• Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Pay Range is $54.87 to $74.36 / hour

The posted pay range is based on the position's primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location. Candidate starting salaries consider multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
