Job summary

Parx Home Health Care is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality home health services in Florida. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, develop tailored care plans, and work to improve clients' daily living skills, mobility, and safety in their homes and communities.

The ideal candidate will have an active Florida OT license, at least 1 year of experience, excellent communication, and a passion for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans for each client, tailored to their specific needs and goals
• Evaluate and treat clients with physical and cognitive limitations to help them improve their daily living skills, range of motion, strength, and balance
• Utilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to the client's environment to enhance their independence and safety
• Educate clients and their caregivers on ways to manage their condition and prevent future injuries
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and care plans
• Stay current with new developments and research in occupational therapy
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice
