Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop care plans tailored to each client's needs
• Evaluate and treat clients with physical and cognitive limitations to improve daily living skills, ROM, strength, and balance
• Utilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to client environments to enhance independence and safety
• Educate clients and caregivers on managing conditions and preventing future injuries
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and care plans
• Stay current with new developments and research in occupational therapy
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice

• Evaluate and treat clients with physical and cognitive limitations to help them improve their daily living skills, range of motion, strength, and balance
• Utilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to the client's environment to enhance their independence and safety
• Educate clients and their caregivers on ways to manage their condition and prevent future injuries
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and care plans
• Stay current with new developments and research in occupational therapy
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice

Requirements

• Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care
