Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Riverview, FL is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist. You will evaluate and treat upper extremity conditions, supervise aides, and advance hand therapy services within our outpatient orthopedic center.

We welcome CHTs and OTs with at least 1 year of hand therapy experience. Mentorship toward CHT certification is offered within a thriving national hand therapy program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active national registration and state licensure required at start.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Open to experienced OTs with at least 1 year of current hand therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
• Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
• Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).

Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Location: Riverview, FL

Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday. Up to 3 evenings until 7pm.

Compensation: Starting at $75,000+/year, based on experience

Incentives: $20,000 sign on bonus + $350/month indefinite student loan repayment

Select Physical Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center. We treat a wide range of upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, and post-op fractures. Splinting experience is preferred.
