Job summary

St. Luke's Health-Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, TX, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to assess patient conditions, develop treatment plans, and guide families and staff in follow-through care. This full-time role aligns with Lifepoint Health's mission to improve community health.

You will document care per regulatory standards, educate teams and families, maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing professional development within a supportive hospital network.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and develop a treatment plan to support progress.
• Instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
