Job summary

Kansas Surgery and Recovery Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we open a rehabilitation unit. You will perform evaluations and provide treatment to patients during rehab stay, with emphasis on safety and dignity.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, NBCOT, Kansas license, and BLS. Prior rehab experience preferred. Full-time with benefits; health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Document progress and coordinate with the rehab team.

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our busy surgical center as we are set to open a rehabilitation unit. This role includes providing evaluations and treatment in a competent, effective, and efficient manner to patients during their rehab stay. The ideal candidate will have rehab experience and knowledge of rehab requirements and documentation that is required. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and respect for patient rights and dignity.

HOURS

Full-Time, 5 days per week with rotating coverage of weekends and holidays.

Candidate must have knowledge of Occupational Therapy and previous experience in the rehab setting is preferred.

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program, pass the NBCOT examination, and have a current Kansas license. A valid BLS certification is required.
