Job summary

Select Medical's Regency Cleveland East in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered therapy on a full-time, day shift basis. You will engage in discharge planning, education for patients and families, and adaptive equipment recommendations to support recovery after critical illness.

Responsibilities include supervising OTAs and students, conducting individualized therapy regimens, monitoring responses to treatment, and participating in ongoing

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• BLS or completion within 90 days of employment is required.
• Experience with discharge planning and supervision of OT staff is advantageous.

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
