Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to assess and treat patients across the post-ICU recovery spectrum in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will participate in discharge planning, supervise OTAs and students, conduct individual therapy, monitor progress, and engage in ongoing education to maintain clinical excellence. Salary is $35–$55 per hour with full-time weekday schedule and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient/family education and adaptive equipment.
• Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs) and OT/COTA students.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
• Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
