Job summary

Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient clinic in Hummelstown, PA. This full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas, following physician guidance.

• Must hold current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification required or completed within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plans per patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegates and directs all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, designing functional programs for community reintegration.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers, and self in therapy goals and techniques.
• Performs other professional duties related to therapy services and program delivery.

Compensation: Pay based on years of experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
