Job summary

Newberry Health in Newberry County, SC is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. The role offers flexible scheduling with options for inpatient or outpatient settings for adults or pediatrics within our 90-bed acute care hospital.

You will work with inpatient and outpatient services. Candidates must graduate from an accredited OT program, hold SC licensure (or eligibility), and have NBCOT certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current SC OT license or eligibility.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services in inpatient acute care, outpatient pediatrics and outpatient adults.
• Offer flexible scheduling with options for inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Contribute to rehabilitation team in a 90-bed acute care hospital.

Description

We are currently seeking a full-time OT to join our Newberry Health Rehab Team. This position is a full-time position with options for flexible scheduling and setting options. Our occupational therapy team currently serves inpatient acute care, outpatient pediatrics, and outpatient adults.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Prior experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.


• Will consider new graduate

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program


• Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in the state of South Carolina


• Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 60 days of hire
