Job summary

Patient Evaluation and Treatment PlanningEvaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities using standardized assessments and clinical judgmentDevelop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, physician orders, and regulatory requirementsEstablish measurable goals and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient progressB. Patient Care / InterventionImplement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and compensatory techniquesFabricate, fit, and train patients in the use of orthotics and splints as appropriateEducate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety, and home programsC.
