Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Covington is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, set goals, and design individualized rehabilitation plans. The OT will provide treatments and modalities in accordance with established policies, ensuring high-quality patient care across variable day shifts.

Louisiana licensure and BLS are required. The hospital operates within the AMG Integrated Healthcare Management system and is located on the 2nd floor of Lakeview Medical Pavilion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Louisiana State License in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s rehabilitation potential and establish realistic goals.
• Plan and administer a therapy program meeting the patient’s functional capacity.
• Deliver OT treatments and modalities per hospital policies and procedures.
• Operate in a flexible schedule with variable day shifts.
