Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, set personalized goals, and implement effective treatment plans that promote improved functional abilities.

You will educate patients and families, develop home exercise programs, and provide discharge recommendations when appropriate. Supervision of staff and collaboration on protocols are expected to support department quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/OTD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state where work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized goals and treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy and educate patients and families.
• Develop home exercise programs and discharge recommendations when appropriate.
• Document accurately and supervise/mentor staff as needed.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the department.
