Job summary

Cedars Healthcare Center - Lakewood, CO is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic evaluations and comprehensive treatment to assigned patients, helping them regain maximum independence for daily living. The Registered OT will develop and implement therapy plans, utilize adaptive equipment, and collaborate with the care team to support patient goals.

A Colorado OT license (DORA) and a degree in OT are required; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy required.
• Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients.
• Maintains timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Designs and administers therapy to increase patients' functioning.
• Instructs patients in adaptive techniques and use of adaptive equipment.
• Trains patients in the use of upper-extremity prosthetic devices and performs home assessments.
• Provides therapy for neurological integration and perceptual-motor remediation programs.
