Bainbridge Island Rehabilitation in Washington is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program. The role includes screening and treating patients with cognitive and ADL impairments, developing care plans, and delivering skilled, medically necessary therapy.

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop appropriate plan of care per standards.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment per regulatory requirements.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan (ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, devices).
• Assess progress and adjust treatments in the clinical record.
• Evaluate outcomes and refer as appropriate based on results.
• Provide counseling to patients and families and coordinate with other service providers.
• Communicate progress and plans with supervisor and health team.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
