Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the San Angelo State Supported Living Center area, with the job location in Carlsbad, TX. The OT will perform advanced therapeutic services, assessments, and development of treatment plans to support residents with complex physical needs.

This exempt, full-time role requires licensure in Occupational Therapy and collaboration with IDT/ISP teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Therapist in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in therapeutic rehabilitation; IDD or therapeutic equipment preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited OT program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, develop treatment plans and provide therapeutic services.
• Plan, implement and monitor complex physical therapy programs.
• Participate in IDT/ISP meetings and coordinate with staff.
• Oversee equipment coordination and supervise internships or student programs.
• Maintain documentation in IRIS and contribute to quality assurance activities.
