Upson Regional Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy across inpatient and outpatient settings in Thomaston, GA. You will help adult patients regain independence through skilled OT interventions, collaborate with the rehab team, and contribute to a compassionate rural care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited OT program.
• Active OT license in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• New graduates welcome with mentoring for transition.

Responsibilities

• Plans therapy programs including activities that develop activities of daily living.
• Provides functional, prevocational, vocational and homemaking skills training.
• Coordinates participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational and social activities.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to align OT with other therapies.
• Designs and adapts equipment and work-living environments for independence.
• Supervises assistants/techs if required.
• Trains medical and nursing students in OT techniques.
