Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Occupational Therapy coursework preferred.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapy license.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Less than one year clinical experience in the relevant setting.
• Experience in hospital-based rehab is preferred; splinting/orthotics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT examinations and evaluations with prognosis and plan of care.
• Modify interventions and educate patients; apply evidence-based strategies.
• Document and bill for services per guidelines and insurance requirements.
• Contribute to department growth through PI, inservices, mentorship, program development.
• Supervise OT Assistants and Rehab Techs as needed.
• Meet productivity expectations for the area served.
• Serve as Clinical Instructor for OT students and collaborate with Education Coordinator.
• Support organizational and department goals.
