Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the State Board; BLS certification may be required depending on facility.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the status of patients' physical, cognitive and daily living abilities.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with patient/family participation and measurable goals.
• Maintains documentation per department policies (Initial Evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, etc.).
• Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences and interdepartmental meetings.
• Assists with supervision of OT/OTA student programs, rehab technicians and volunteers; supports orientation and scheduling.
