Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Clarksville, TN, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients and create individualized plans of care. The role includes delivering therapy, fitting splints, supervising assistants, and ensuring compliant documentation.

Ideal candidates have OT licensure in TN, CPR, and solid outpatient orthopedic experience. The position offers on-site collaboration, professional development, and involvement in program growth, marketing, and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Must have degree with AOTA curriculum and OT licensure in TN.
• CPR certification required.
• Able to work effectively in an autonomous setting.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, databases and MS Office.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Administer therapy including manual techniques, exercises, and modalities.
• Assess and fit splints and adaptive devices.
• Supervise COTAs and guide patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulations.
• Order and manage therapy supplies and equipment.
• Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination.
• Contribute to policy development, quality assurance, and program growth.
• Participate in marketing, public relations, and professional education activities.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college with an AOTA curriculum
• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in state of TN
• CPR certification
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
• Exercise and Manual based skills, and Sports Rehabilitation
• One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred
• New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply
