Job summary

Healing Haven LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support children with autism in a dedicated pediatric setting. The role focuses on independence, sensory regulation, and meaningful participation across environments, within a collaborative clinical model that includes ABA and speech therapy teams.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and analyze data to refine approaches while engaging families in outcomes and progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Michigan OT license is required (unrestricted).
• Autism knowledge preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain a clinical caseload of billable hours.
• Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Positive, flexible and team-oriented mindset is expected.
• Leadership/supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Credentialing with major insurance providers preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments for program placement and progress monitoring.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Utilize ongoing data analysis to modify treatment strategies as needed.
• Supervise and support therapeutic programming.
• Facilitate parent meetings and parent training to promote carryover across environments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and quality of care.
• Complete documentation, reports and authorization-related communication with payors.
• Stay current with research and emerging methodologies in OT and autism services.

Healing Haven is a state of the art behavioral clinic for children with autism and their families. Our unique services include a 3-month parent training program, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and day-time center based ABA services for children between the ages of 2-12. Occupational Therapy at Healing Haven
